Quick Guide
Your tyre size is printed on the sidewall of every tyre. It looks like 205/55 R16 91V. Here's what each number means:
205 mm — the width of the tyre from sidewall to sidewall
55% — the sidewall height as a percentage of the tyre width
R = Radial — the most common tyre construction type
16 inches — the diameter of the wheel rim the tyre fits
91 = 615 kg max load per tyre — check your vehicle handbook
V = up to 149 mph — must meet or exceed your vehicle's requirement
WHERE TO FIND YOUR TYRE SIZE
Look at the outer sidewall of any tyre on your vehicle — the size is moulded into the rubber, usually near the rim edge. It can also be found on a sticker inside the driver's door jamb or in your vehicle handbook. If you're unsure, call us on 01282 501162 with your vehicle registration and we'll look it up for you.
